At Hope Without Barriers, we are dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for our neighbors. Our ministry, rooted in the First Pentecostal Church of Flatwoods, serves the local community by breaking down barriers through food assistance, school supplies, and accessible events for individuals with disabilities. We believe that by serving with faith and compassion, we create opportunities for everyone to feel connected and valued.
How We Serve
Monthly Food Pantry
Helping local individuals and families access food and essential support when they need it.
Our food pantry is held on the first Tuesday of every month from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM .
School Supply Assistance
We help students begin the school year prepared with essential school supplies and provide an additional supply refresh in January.
Community Outreach
Our outreach programs are designed to provide practical help, encouragement, and connection to individuals and families throughout our community.
Sensory Accommodations
We work to make community programs and events more welcoming and accessible for individuals with disabilities and sensory needs.
